VOLCHOK
Set in the Russian Empire at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, the story follows thirteen-year-old orphaned nobleman Ivan Ogarev, who is forced to flee after assassins hired by his own uncle begin hunting him down.
During his escape, Ivan meets Volchok, a rough and taciturn fistfighter. Together, they must evade their pursuers and make their way to Nizhny Novgorod, where Ivan hopes to find a loyal friend of his late father.
Separated by a deep social and emotional divide, the refined young aristocrat and the grim commoner struggle to understand each other and can barely tolerate one another. Ahead of them lies a dangerous journey that will forever change both of them.
