The White Lily Litvyak

The Great Patriotic War. 21-year-old Lydia Litvyak serves as a fighter pilot in an aviation regiment. Alongside her comrades-in-arms, she carries out missions in the most intense sectors of the front, taking part in fierce air battles and proving herself one of the most successful aces. Within the regiment, she begins a relationship with fellow pilot Alexei Solomatin. Combat victories, losses, and personal hardships do not shake Lydia's firm character.
