The winter of 1941. In the German positions, the word is circulated about a Soviet soldier, a loner, who appears out of thin air and kills the soldiers of the Wehrmacht. It is impossible to capture that man, let alone to kill him. The Germans need to destroy him and scatter the myth about the invincible Red Army. But again and again the Russian avenger slips away from their hands. The Germans dubbed him Red Ghost. A special death-squad is banded to find him. At the same time, a small group of Russian warriors are trying to break through the encirclement near the village Vyazma (The Vyazma Cauldron). They stop for a rest in an abandoned hamlet. By a fateful twist, this is exactly where comes the death-squad. But soon they are to deal with the Red Ghost.
