THE CROSS

The documentary film tells about the deep, sacred meanings of the cross. The cross is one of the most famous signs in the history of mankind, it has been a worldwide symbol of Christianity for 2000 years. The film tells about how the cross is multifaceted and multidimensional; from a cross on the body to huge worship crosses installed in important places all over the earth. The film consists of three main chapters: faith, hope, and love. The film was shot in Russian Orthodox monasteries, as well as in Jerusalem, Ethiopia and Egypt.
