From August 5 to 11, the large-scale "Russian Film Festival 2024" / «2024俄罗斯电影展» will be held in three cities of China: Beijing, Nanjing and Shenzhen. The screenings are organized jointly with the China Film Archive with the support of the Russian Ministry of Culture and the State Film Administration of China. The event is timed to coincide with the 17th meeting of the Subcommittee on Cooperation in Cinematography of the Russian-Chinese Commission on Humanitarian Cooperation, which will be held in Beijing on August 5.

As part of the Russian Film Festival, Chinese viewers will see new releases from 2024: the science fiction blockbuster Sto Let Togo Vpered (directed by Alexander Andryushchenko) and the Yakut drama Tam, Gde Gayut Sterkh Dancing (directed by Mikhail Lukachevsky), as well as the road movie comedy Poekhashaya (2023, directed by Anton Maslov), the adventure drama Poveritel Vetri (2023, directed by Igor Voloshin) about the world-famous Russian traveler Fyodor Konyukhov (2023, directed by Anton Kolomeets). In addition, the full-length animated films Chink. Khvostaty Detective (2022, directed by Grigory Vozhakin) and Buka. My Favorite Monster (2021, directed by Viktor Glukhushin, Maxim Volkov).
