It has been a year since Cheburashka moved in with Gena. The little big-eared friend is growing up, and disagreements between them have become more frequent. Cheburashka starts showing too much independence and getting into trouble, while Gena tries to teach him proper behavior.
They are invited to Sonya’s luxurious birthday party, where Cheburashka accidentally ruins the celebration. Hoping to avoid another argument, Cheburashka secretly runs away to the mountains together with Sonya and Grisha, where they encounter breathtaking scenery and exciting but dangerous adventures.
When the adults discover that the children are missing, they join forces to bring them back home. Along the way, they must make things right and learn to listen to each other.
