August 1944. The dense forests of Western Belarus. Middle-earth, a recently liberated territory—a special zone where enemy reconnaissance and sabotage groups left behind in the Soviet rear operate. Soviet troops are crossing the state border, and the tide of war is turning. A blow to the back of the advancing army could thwart this.
